By 2025 more than 90 million, currently human jobs, will be taken by robots. For young people this is news worth paying attention to. Entry-level positions that include routine tasks are precisely the ones disappearing first. - Harvard Business
Whether your child's dream is working in a hospital or in a restaurant, robots will be part of their workspace. Getting an early step-up in robotics will make a huge difference in their success. Retail, Science, Technology, Engineering, Health care, Construction, Education, Agriculture, Sales, even Business and Transportation, they are all embracing AI and robotics. It's highly likely that future top-paying jobs will require some level of robotics experience. Robotics education develops a problem-solving mindset that is helpful in all aspects of a professional's life. Even if students don’t want to pursue a career in STEM related subjects, teaching young kids to think critically, ask questions, and find innovative solutions will always be beneficial to them as they grow up.
Look at what industry leaders say:
Elon Musk and other technology executives say AI will replace most human jobs in less time than most people think. In fact, Elon Musk predicts all jobs will go to robots eventually. Elon Musk, also, says Tesla will start producing Optimus by next year to bring information gathering robots to a new level.
MIT - As robotics and AI take over the workplace there will assuredly be an increasing number of jobs related to programming, robotics, engineering, etc. After all, these skills will be needed to improve and maintain the AI and automation being used around us.
- Karen Hao - MIT Tech Review
"AI and robotics will radically transform jobs in healthcare, and education starting 2024. This transformation needs to start with AI education tools. The AI tools in education being piloted today are mind-blowing because they are tailored to each individual learner. Students should focus on AI Design and Operations. Professionals who specialize in creating and operating AI tools themselves will remain indispensable to there industries. As AI and robotics evolve, experts in designing, optimizing, and maintaining these systems will be essential for their effective functioning." - Bill Gates 2024
How fast this will happen is the big question. The Big Tech Giants have the answer.
In an interview with Market Watch, Apple CEO Tim Cook said computer programming and an understanding of AI are the most important avenues students can pursue today.
Paul McWhorter, a scientist and Deputy Director for the Microsystems Science, Technology Center at Sandia National Laboratories, N.M. and technology entrepreneur said, “Today we can replace almost any employee we want with a robot…. If I had a choice between an employee and a robot I would take the robot every time.” -Top Tech Boy 2023
Software engineer and co-founder of Netscape Communications, Marc Andreessen, an outspoken billionaire and tech world leader says, "More technology is the only way forward." - The Conversation, November 5, 2023
In a recent Deloitte Survey, of more than 2,800 business and technology leaders around the world, 62% reported that they feel excitement for gen AI. The question is how quickly AI will transform their organizations and industries. Almost 70% said it’s happening in less than 3 years.
Don’t you want your child to have a significant workplace edge in their future? I know you do.
The skills taught in this course are far more important for your child than most extra curricular activities. When kids understand how to build and even write a code to overcome a robotics problem it is pure joy for them. With our direct approach, kids are more interested and able to respond to robotics in an assertive way.
MIT Technology Review - agrees that without outside the system help, your child will not be ready for the future.
School districts are severely underestimating what the future is going to require of today’s kids. According to IES>NCES National Center for Education Statistics nationally only about 2% of high schoolers have had a STEM course related to AI or robotics by 12th grade. Only 10% of STEM students had any class related to engineering. The other 90% of STEM classwork was computer information technology and math in nature. So it is clear that in spite of the substantial benefits that robotics offer children nationally the preparation is inadequate.
Artificial intelligence-driven automation has the potential to replace a variety of jobs, especially those that involve repetitive, predictable tasks. This could result in a significant reduction in jobs in several sectors. - Bill Gates 2014
Kids Robotics Camps will be starting this October. Let us know if you are interested in a one time Robotics Camp. If we can get five or more kids interested we will set up a convenient time. Kids will make a robot and learn to communicate with robots. Send us your thoughts!
Overall, experts view robotics education as a powerful tool for engaging students and developing a wide array of skills. Robotics will prepare students for the future and inspire a new generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
Greg is our team leader, setting the curriculum for student success.
Teaching has been a lifelong focus for Greg and his team. He started in the 1990's in San Gabriel California teaching High School classes to energetic teenagers and through the years he has taught at almost every level with success.
Greg has worked with Nobel nominated scientists in engineering and technology as well as teaching kids at the grade school level. This range of experience gives him an unprecedented edge in educating kids in robotics and AI.
The Versa Bodix program is designed to build your child's skills gradually. Each lesson builds on the previous one, ensuring a smooth progression of skills. Through our engaging projects and experiments learning becomes enjoyable and natural. As a result, children effortlessly acquire the skills necessary for success in robotics.
Experienced teacher's aids help guide each student through a series of discovery projects. Each student gets one-on-one guidance through challenging concepts.
We believe that leading students to success comes through hands-on experiences. So, this is the focus of our program.
We believe our classes offer every child success.
